you've definitely improved alot on your smoothness.
I have to criticisms/suggestions tho:
1. The characters looks too stiff and uncomfortable to watch, you should also try to rotate each sprite a bit whenever they change or move to a new position.
2. The Merc guy with the silenced pistol, why did he take off his other hand from the grip after firing twice? Pistols are better fired and looks cooler with 2 hands on the grip, instead of the usual one hand not holding anything and one handing pistols (which looks dumb in my opinion).
